| Happy Birthday Hidan! |
[Apr. 2nd, 2012|03:41 pm] |
Hey guys
In order to commemorate the obnoxious, hilarious, crazy, masochistic fucktard Hidan from the series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto on his birthday I have a FAN ART!
It is in watercolors, and then edited a bit on Photoshop (contrast etc)
( Here thar be art )

Hello everyone
So I am back from Japan, and it was pretty amazing. The weather was warmer that I expected, but it was still cold nonetheless. I'll make posts about Japan later, but I figure I should keep you guys updated with paintings I've finished recently.
Sorry if I double post, as it's been so long since I've done a post about my paintings that I've forgotten which ones I have and which ones I haven't uploaded.
That's pretty sad. Moving on.
In addition, my paintings have really unimaginative names. They are pretty apt though, and are just place holders at the moment. The watercolor paintings are scanned and thus have shitty image quality because my scanner sucks. But eh, at least I have one, so that's a silver lining, I guess.

| Writer's Block: Grammy Awards |
[Mar. 2nd, 2012|11:54 pm] |
Recently there has been two songs stuck in my head:
One is Video Games (Lana Del Ray Cover) by The Young Professionals. Holy Christ on a Cracker this song is so catchy and fabulous. It has got a great beat and is infinitely danceable and singable. Ugh, I haven't been able to get it out of my head, but eh it's a good song so I'm not that miffed. I do prefer this version over the original, but I don't hate Lana Del Ray, I think that she's just not my style.
The second is The Blues are Still Blue by Belle & Sebastian (Belle and Sebastian if you prefer) This song I think is really groovy and is very fun to sing to. It has a lot of energy and is good to shuffle around the room to, obviously with the door locked, the curtains drawn and with no one watching. This is one of Belle & Sebastian's more danceable, upbeat and strong songs in my opinion.
You guys should totally check these songs out!
Also I'LL BE IN JAPAN FOR THE NEXT WEEK. EXPECT MANY POSTS ABOUT THAT~ |

| MORE QUOTES (le gasp!) |
[Feb. 18th, 2012|12:56 am] |
Hi everyone,
I was talking to my friend one day, and we got on the subject of awesome quotes after I remembered that Writer's Block prompt. I figured that I could share more that, while aren't the ones I go to first, still have a great influence upon my life and reflect my philosophies on life. Of course, the quotes themselves are beautiful, and I am just sharing them with you guys as is, but like a good story, quotes often take on new meaning to every individual, shaping and molding them to fit with their minds. A lot of the quotes are from Sandman, which is one of my FAVORITE comic book series. You guys should read them all. They will BLOW your mind. In the best way possible of course.

| 10 "Hottest" Animated Male Characters |
[Feb. 14th, 2012|12:07 am] |
Hi guys!
This may seem like a bit of an unusual post, but I saw this video by Nostalgia Chick, in which she asked people online what they believed to be the "hottest" male animated character from 1992-2002 (as she is Nostalgia Chick, so anything recent doesn't fit with that). The quotations around the hottest are because they are purely opinion of many people and they may not be conventionally hot. Yeah. Women I believe are more attracted to personalities and of course have looks somewhere blended into that mix.
I figure I should do a list, to get my head wrapped around my fictional crushes (who are animated of course and NOT INCLUDING VIDEO GAMES; beyond that I have so much more~) Also I'm doing this for all animated characters, regardless of how long ago their movie came out, and the characters must be from animated movies or animated tv series (yes, including anime). No vague interpretations of animated (video games anyone?) or anything like that. Also this is all my own opinion, so it's by no means carved in stone.
It would also be nice to know some of your hottest male animated characters. There will be a POLL at the bottom, so heads up for that! Also there are a lot of good female ones but I'll talk about that later.
( Without further ado.. )

| Writer's Block: Words to Live by |

世界が独自の魔法です - The world is its own magic - Shunryu Suzuki
世界は美しくなん かない。そしてそれ故に美しい - The world is not beautiful, therefore it is - Kino no Tabi Apologies for the Japanese quotes, I swear I am not a weeaboo or wapanese. I truly love these two quotes and frankly I think they are both horribly beautiful and convey meaning without cliche, sensitivity without sappiness and a brevity and conciseness that allows for many individual interpretations. I also would like to get one of these tattooed (le gasp) on me one day, but I'll see if that ever comes to fruition.

| Writer's Block: Happy New Year of the Dragon! |
[Jan. 31st, 2012|02:31 pm] |
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR 恭喜发财!新年快乐!年年有余!学习进步!
(SORRY IT'S SO BELATED ;A;)
My Chinese zodiac animal is a pig! I don't really like being a pig, because of reasons (obvious ones at that). For a run down of the pig's sign, it means that one is honest, fertile (eugh, but the Chinese apparently REALLY LIKE THIS TRAIT), straight forward, supportive, patient, shy, and reserved.
Most of which I am not.
Also there are so many more cool ones
Like the snake.
This may or may not give away my age, which I honestly prefer to keep unknown to avoid judgment. I mean it's not that bad, but at the same time I like to keep a level field when chatting to people online, as it keeps it more....free I guess.

| Christmas Break Shenanigans |
[Jan. 14th, 2012|12:27 am] |
|
Hello everyone!
Sorry for the hella long delays between posts.I will be doing a run through of Christmas Break. This Christmas break I was in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is surprisingly similar to Manila or other Southeast Asian cities. The roads are jam packed and really loud as well as the air being pretty congested and everything. Even though Indonesia is a developing country it still manages to boast some huge malls and nice hotels. I think it must have been the day we came though because the sky was grey and the sun was hidden behind layers of thick, poufy clouds. Clouds made of pollution that is. ( KEEP FORGETTING TO CUT ARRGH )
